"I recently retired after 23 years serving in United States Navy. Prior to my retirement my friends, one in particular, insisted that I reconsider having a retirement ceremony.  I am not a person who likes flash or attention, but I eventually agreed to have a farewell luncheon with a few of my fellow Chiefs. Expecting nothing more than friendship beer and some food, my fellow Chiefs surprised me with a bronze Chief combo cover displayed on a beautifully crafted box platform.  I'm not a person who is short on words but this left me speechless and shocked. My friends and family were amazed by the quality and detailed craftsmanship of this gift!  I normally put away all my Navy plaques and paddles in a box and store it in the garage however, this is one Navy gift that I proudly display in my house.  I want to thank all my friends for their support and a special thanks to Anna at the Bronzery for her time and effort in putting my bronzed Combo cover together!"
